Well, it’s different all over raja ampat yacht the world. The sailing season in the Mediterranean lasts 6 months, starting in April and ending in October. The Caribbean sailing season runs from January to May. In Seychelles – all year round, except the rainy season from December to February. The best sailing time in Thailand is from November to April.

Yacht rental in high season
The high season for sailing in the Mediterranean is July and August. Peak season for a sailing trip to the Caribbean, Thailand or Seychelles is from February to April.

The price of a charter depends mainly on the period in which you will take your vacation. Whichever yacht charter you choose, during peak sailing season it will cost you double what you would pay in the off season!

Off-season rates
A yacht charter in May or October will be much cheaper than the same boat in high season. In Italy, this difference could even be multiplied by 3. We recommend choosing June and September to sail in Europe: it is quite warm, the prices are fair and the best sailing routes are not crowded!

Booking time
Early bookings are definitely something you need to take advantage of! From mid-November to the end of January, very good deals are offered: up to 40% off the price of the next sailing season. On Boatico.com, these offers are listed in the upper right corner along with the percentage discount on the boat in question.

Duration of boat rental
The duration of a yacht charter is almost always one week – Saturday to Saturday. This is why all rental prices in our catalog are for one week. It is rare that there are boats to rent for the day and it will cost more than renting the boat for a week. For longer navigation (10 days – 2 weeks), you will benefit from an additional reduction.
